Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (overview). The objectives are as follows:. To summarise Cochrane Neonatal evidence on:. interventions (pharmacological or surgical) for prevention of PDA and related complications in preterm infants; and interventions (pharmacological or surgical) for management of PDA in preterm infants, including: interventions for management of asymptomatic PDA in preterm infants; and interventions for management of symptomatic (haemodynamically significant) PDA in preterm infants.
