OBJECTIVE: To explore the therapeutic effect of bismuth in rabeprazole-based quadruple therapy on Helicobacter pylori (H pylori)-positive peptic ulcer. METHODS: 76 cases of H pylori-positive peptic ulcer were selected randomly. Divided into a control group and an experimental group: the control group used rabeprazole + levofloxacin + amoxicillin, and the experimental group used bismuth pectin in addition to the above drugs, for a course of 7 days, and then received anti-ulcer treatment. Observe H pylori eradication rate, ulcer Healing rate and adverse reactions. RESULTS: The eradication rate of H pylori in the control group was 71.05%, and that in the experimental group was 92.10%. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05); the ulcer healing rate in the control group was 92.11%, and that in the experimental group was 94.74%. , there was no significant difference between the 2 groups (P >0.05). CONCLUSION: Bismuth is safe and effective in the treatment of H pylori-positive peptic ulcer with rabeprazole-based quadruple therapy.
