During the period of physical distancing of the covid-19 pandemic, the practice of physical exercise played an essential role in maintaining health. This study aimed to evaluate the predictive power of the dimensions of passion (obsessive [po] and harmonious [ph]) on exercise practice time during the week, state of mindfulness in performing the exercise and its consequences on satisfaction with practice. The study included 359 regular exercise practitioners of both sexes (67.4 % women), aged between 18 and 70 years (M = 36.6 ± 11.9). Pearson correlation analyses and structural equation modeling were used. The results showed that both dimensions of passion positively predicted the practice time, however, only PH predicted the state of mindfulness, which positively predicted satisfaction with practice. These results corroborate the literature on the dualistic model of passion by indicating ph as a variable that promotes positive psychological functioning
