METHODS: 66 patients with primary hypertension admitted to our hospital from June to December 2014 were selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 33 cases each. The control group was given conventional Western medicine treatment, the observation group was given traditional Chinese medicine treatment on the basis of the control group treatment, and observed the curative effect of the two groups of patients. RESULTS: After treatment, the total efficiency of the observation group was 96.97%, which was significantly higher than 66.67% of the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).
