INTERVENTION: Intervention1: 5 percent Dextrose: 5 percent Dextrose administered as 200 mL preoperatively 2 hours before induction over 30 minutes and 200 mL 30 minutes before extubation, in addition to standard intraoperative normal saline. Intervention2: 5 percent Dextrose: Intervention will be either administer 200 ml 5 percent Dextrose 2 hour before induction of Anesthesia along with just half hour before extubation as 50,50 percent as in other comparator group 5 percent Dextrose totally administer before induction Control Intervention1: 5 percent Dextrose: 5 percent Dextrose administered as 400 mL preoperatively 2 hours before induction over 30 minutes, in addition to standard intraoperative normal saline. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: O‐ Medical and Surgical Health Condition 2: 8‐ Other Procedures PRIMARY OUTCOME: 1‐To compare effectiveness of preoperative and intraoperative Intravenous Dextrose strategy and preoperative only Intravenous Dextrose strategy for post operative patient comfort in patients undergoing elective spine surgeries in terms of Postoperative nausea, vomiting as assessed by PONV scores and Postoperative Pain as assessed by Numerical Ratine Scale score NRS ; 2‐In terms of stress reduction as assessed by change in postoperative serum cortisol level at 4th postoperative hour from baseline ; Timepoint: 1‐Postoperative nausea, vomiting as assessed by PONV scores at 0,2hr,4hr,8hr,12hr, and 24 hours post‐operatively and Post operative Pain as assessed by Numerical Ratine Scale score at 0 ,2hr hr,4hr,8hr,12hr, and 24 hours post‐operatively ; 2‐change in serum cortisol level measured from preinduction baseline to the 4th postoperative hour ; SECONDARY OUTCOME: To compare effectiveness of preoperative and intraoperative Intravenous Dextrose strategy and preoperative only Intravenous Dextrose strategy for postoperative patient comfort in terms of postoperative Anxiety score as assessed by State Trait Anxiety Inventory scale at 4th post‐operative hour. ; ; Timepoint: 4th post‐operative hour To compare effectiveness of preoperative and intraoperative Intravenous Dextrose strategy with preoperative only Intravenous Dextrose strategy for postoperative patient comfort in patients undergoing elective spine surgeries in terms of maintaining stable peri‐operative blood glucose levels as assessed at following points ; Pre operatively at 10 minutes before induction of anaesthesia ; Intra operative hourly ; Post operatively at 2 hours after extubation ; Timepoint: Pre operatively at 10 minutes before induction of anaesthesia ; Intra operative hourly ; Post operatively at 2 hours after extubation INCLUSION CRITERIA: Patients of American Society of Anesthesiology I and II Patients of Elective spine surgery under General anesthesia. Patients with Written informed consent.
