This study will examine whether patients\' ability to perform everyday physical activities before lung surgery is related to their risk of developing lung complications after surgery. It will include adults scheduled for surgery to remove part or all of a lung. The main questions are: * Is lower physical function before surgery associated with a higher risk of lung complications afterward? * Can information reported by patients improve risk assessment when added to routine clinical information? * How is physical function before surgery related to recovery afterward? Participants will complete questionnaires about their physical abilities, breathing symptoms, and recovery. Researchers will also collect information from medical records, including lung function tests, anesthesia care, the type of surgery, pain management, and chest drainage. Participants will be followed after surgery to record lung complications and recovery. This is an observational study. The research team will not assign patients to particular treatments or change their usual surgical or anesthesia care. The findings may help identify patients who need closer assessment and additional support around the time of lung surgery.
