TREATMENT OF TENSION TYPE HEADACHE WITH CERVICAL TRACTION/CERVICOGENIC MYOFACIAL RELEASE AND TENS

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Cervical traction and TENS: Group A will undergo TENS and Mechanical Cervical Traction. The pre‐ and post outcome assessment will be taken. TENS given with pulse shape rectangular and Pulse width 200μs, (Low frequency‐High intensity type), thrice a week for four weeks. Each lasting 15 minutes for cervical muscles. Mechanical intermittent cervical traction will be given in sitting or prone position trice a week for 15 minutes. Total duration of Intervention‐ 4 weeks Intervention2: Cervicogenic Myofacial release and TENS : Group B will receive TENS and Myofacial Release. The pre‐ and post outcome assessment will be taken. Group B will receive TENS and Myofacial Release. Total duration of Intervention‐ 4 weeks CONDITION: Health Condition 1: G442‐ Tension‐type headache PRIMARY OUTCOME: ï?· Headache frequency defined as the number of headache (days per week/Month) ; ï?· Pain intensity measured using the visual analog scale. ; ï?· Neck pain and disability using the Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire. ; ï?· International Headache Society criteria for cervical headachesTimepoint: At Baseline, 4weeks and 6weeks SECONDARY OUTCOME: NOT APPLICABLETimepoint: NOT APPLICABLE INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1 Diagnosed with Tension‐type headache 2 Age :‐ 20 ‐50 years 3 Gender :‐ Both Males and Females 4 Headache secondary to Cervical morbidity 5 More than one episode of headaches with the period of a month
