INTERVENTION: Term: 8 week Amount: 1 cup per day Frequency: Once a day None CONDITION: Healthy Adult PRIMARY OUTCOME: life survey (fever and cold‐like symptoms) SECONDARY OUTCOME: defecation survey (improvement in bowel movement and properties of feces); questionnaire on gastrointestinal symptoms; Detection of influenza virus in saliva INCLUSION CRITERIA: ‐Japanese males and females aged 20‐59 at the time of receiving consent ‐Those who tend to be in poor health condition during the period of January to March ‐Those who have contracted influenza (excluding those who contracted influenza this year)
