INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Xylitol Nasal Irrigation: Participants will perform nasal irrigation at home using a 5 percent xylitol solution prepared by dissolving 2 packets of 10 g xylitol powder in 400 ml of sterile water. The solution will be administered by the intranasal route using a nasal irrigation squeeze bottle. Each irrigation session will consist of 400 ml of the prepared solution, with 200 ml delivered into each nasal cavity. The irrigation will be performed once daily for a total duration of 6 weeks. Participants will be instructed regarding the preparation of the solution and the standardized nasal irrigation technique before starting the intervention. Participants will continue to receive standard medical treatment for allergic rhinitis throughout the study period Control Intervention1: Normal Saline Nasal Irrigation: Participants will perform nasal irrigation at home using a 0.9 percent normal saline solution prepared by dissolving 2 packets of 1.8 g salt powder in 400 ml of sterile water. Participants will continue to receive standard medical treatment for allergic rhinitis throughout the study period. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: J309‐ Allergic rhinitis, unspecified PRIMARY OUTCOME: Improvement in allergic rhinitis symptoms measured using the SNOT‐22 score following xylitol nasal irrigation compared with normal saline nasal irrigation.Timepoint: Baseline, 3 weeks and 6 weeks after initiation of treatment. SECONDARY OUTCOME: NILTimepoint: NIL INCLUSION CRITERIA: Diagnosed with intermittent or persistent allergic rhinitis as per ARIA guidelines
