Comparison of Unani formulation and standard Ursodeoxycholic acid tablets in gallstones

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Unani formulation in the form of decoction containing 19 ingredients: 50ml of decoction Twice Daily before food for 90 days Control Intervention1: Ursodeoxycholic Acid: 300 mg tablet, orally, twice daily after meals for 3 months. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: K808‐ Other cholelithiasis PRIMARY OUTCOME: Subjective symptoms likeDyspepsia, Right Hypochondric region pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Flatulence ; Timepoint: 0,15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90th day SECONDARY OUTCOME: BMI, LFT, Lipid profile, USGTimepoint: Day 0 and Day 90 INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1.Diagnosed cases of Cholelithiasis Hisaath‐ul‐Marara confirmed by abdominal ultrasonography single or multiple gallstones without complications‐ size 5‐15mm, elevated ALP 1.5 ‐ 3 times ULN and or S. Bilirubin 1.5 ‐ 3 mg per dL 2.Patients presenting with mild to moderate symptoms such as right upper abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, or dyspepsia. 3.Patients who are willing to avoid surgical intervention during the trial period. 4.Patients who are willing to comply with the study protocol and give written informed consent.
