INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Pericapsular Nerve Group block: Pericapsular Nerve Group block. Under aseptic precautions and using Ultrasound, 20ml of 0.25% Bupivacaine and 40meqs of Fentanyl is administered slowly at the space between illiopsoas muscle tendon and Iliopubic eminence with aspiration performed every 5ml to avoid intravascular injection Control Intervention1: 3 in 1 Femoral Nerve Block: 3 in 1 Femoral Nerve Block. Under aseptic precautions and using Ultrasound, 20ml of 0.25% Bupivacaine and 40meqs of Fentanyl is administered slowly as close as possible to femoral nerve ensuring an expanding hypoechoic area within fascial space surrounding the nerve sheath with aspiration performed every 5ml to avoid intravascular injection CONDITION: Health Condition 1: M849‐ Disorder of continuity of bone, unspecified PRIMARY OUTCOME: To measure the efficacy of analgesia with Ultrasound guided Pericapsular nerve group block versus Ultrasound guided 3 in 1 femoral nerve block for pain management in hip fractures on NPRS Numerical Pain Rating scaleTimepoint: 0 mins, 2 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, 20 mins, 25 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour, 1.5 hour, 2 hour, 2.5 hour, 3 hour, 3.5 hour, 4 hour, 4.5 hour, 5 hour, 5.5 hour, 6 hour, 6.5 hour, 7 hour, 7.5 hour, 8 hour SECONDARY OUTCOME: to assess & compare the complications & adverse effects of the blocksTimepoint: 30 mins, 1 hour, 1.5 hour, 2 hour, 2.5 hour, 3 hour, 3.5 hour, 4 hour, 4.5 hour, 5 hour, 5.5 hour, 6 hour, 6.5 hour, 7 hour, 7.5 hour, 8 hour to assess for ease of doing ultrasound guided blocks in emergency departmentTimepoint: At the time of block i.e. 0 minutes to assess for patient satisfaction by likert scale with analgesia in both the blocksTimepoint: After 8 hours to evaluate the need for supplemental use of IV opiods Fentanyl 0.5mcg/kg for breakthrough painTimepoint: after 10 minutes INCLUSION CRITERIA: patients aged more than 14 years of age or older presented to emergency department with radilogically confirmed hip fractures with moderate to severe pain NPRS more than 4
