Effect of two drugs on improvement of lung function after operative fixation of cervical spine: a Prospective, Double Blinded, Randomised Control Trial

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Sugammadex: 2mg/kg of actual body weight rounded to the closest 10 mg, at the end of the surgery as a single dose Control Intervention1: Neostigmine: 70 ug/kg Neostigmine with Glycopyrrolate 01 mg to 0.2 mg for every 1 mg Neostigmine. The dose of neostigmine will be rounded to the closest 0.1 mg. Drug will be given at the end of the surgery as a single dose CONDITION: Health Condition 1: O‐ Medical and Surgical PRIMARY OUTCOME: To compare the lung aeration score at 24 hours post operatively.Timepoint: Just before the start of the surgery and 24 hours after the end of the surgery SECONDARY OUTCOME: 1. Length of ICU stay ; 2. Length of hospital stay ; 3. 30 day mortality ; 4. Incidence of tracheostomy during hospital stay ; 5. POPC till day 7 ; 6. Extubation on table ; 7. Duration of mechanical ventilation ; 8. Change in motor power from baseline (at admission) motor power at discharge ; Timepoint: 30 days INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1. ASA I‐III physical status patients 2. Who have consented to participate in the study 3. Age‐ 18‐65 years
