The effect of acupuncture on ADHD

INTERVENTION: Medical Device : 1. Needling details 0.20mm×30mm Stainless steel acupuncture For each time, Using 13 acupunture points[(GV20)*1, (EX‐HN1)*4, (LI4)*2, (LI11)*2, (SP6)*2, (LR3)*2] Acupuncture maintaining for 20min. 2. Treatment regimen 2 times/week * 6weeks 3. Co‐interventions In the first 3rd weeks visit and sixth weeks visit, an education for their parents will be conducted. 4. Practitioner background One with 6 yrs regular oriental medical college education, having OMD(oriental medical doctor) license, knowing well about this study and acupuncture safety education. 5. Control intervention The control group will be 6 weeks waiting list without additional ADHD treatment. In the first 3rd weeks visit and sixth weeks visit, an education for their parents will be conducted with ADHD symptom improvement check. If CGI‐I score ≧6, participant stops waiting and drops out (as same on acupuncture treatment group for study ethical issues). After waiting endpoint, participants will be given acupuncture treatment for 6 weeks as same. CONDITION: Mental and behavioral disorders PRIMARY OUTCOME: Korean parent ADHD‐RS SECONDARY OUTCOME: Conners' parent rating scale(CPRS) IOWA Conners' parent rating scale K‐CBCL INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1. 7‐18yrs male/female 2. ADHD(any subtype) in DSM‐? criteria 3. Without any treatment about ADHD or No chage of treatments/symptoms about ADHD for last 2weeks 4. Self‐aprovement of this trial
