ABSTRACT: With the transformation of health concepts and medical models, the concept of quality of life has been introduced into medical research. The quality of life of the elderly has become a prominent medical and social problem. In the past 20 years, a large number of quality of life studies have been conducted on chronic diseases such as cardiovascular system diseases, rheumatic diseases, and endocrine system diseases at home and abroad. Few people have studied the impact of exercise intervention on the quality of life of hypertensive patients. There are few related studies on the impact of quality of life in patients with hypertension, and no literature has been found that uses the SF-36 measurement tool to reflect the impact of Tai Chi on the quality of life of patients with hypertension. This study intends to use the SF-36 scale to evaluate the impact of Tai Chi exercise on the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients, and to explore the changes in the quality of life of hypertensive patients caused by Tai Chi exercise intervention. Research provides a basis for reference. First, 80 middle-aged and elderly (40-70 years old) hypertensive patients were selected through interviews and blood pressure monitoring, and randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group observed the changes in their quality of life through Tai Chi exercise for 3 months. The exercise frequency is 6 days a week, and the exercise cycle is 3 months. The test indicators mainly include height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, blood pressure, SF-36 and other aspects. Studies have shown that after 3 months of Tai Chi exercise, the blood pressure of middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients is significantly reduced, and the reduction effect of diastolic blood pressure is even more significant. After 6 months of Taijiquan exercise, the systolic blood pressure of the subjects gradually decreased, and there was no difference in the changes in different stages; the diastolic blood pressure gradually decreased with the prolongation of time, and the changes in different stages were different; PF, RP, BP, GH, VT , SF dimension scores are significantly improved, and RE and MH dimension scores are significantly improved; 3 months of Tai Chi exercise can improve the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients of different age groups. There is no big difference: With the prolongation of practice time, the improvement effects of PF, RP, BP, GH, VT, RE, and SF in middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients are different at different stages of practice, and the effect of SF improvement is not much different . The study draws the following conclusions: (1) Taijiquan exercise has obvious antihypertensive effect and can be used as an auxiliary treatment for antihypertensive treatment. (2) Before the experiment, the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients was generally low, only at the pass level; men were lower than women, below the pass level. After 3 months of Taijiquan exercise, the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients was significantly improved; 3 months of Taijiquan exercise in male middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients improved their evaluation of their own health status and development trend, as well as the effects of emotional problems. In terms of functional limitations, the effect is more significant than that of women; in terms of improving the impact of physical and mental health problems on social activities of female middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients, the effect is more significant than that of men; All patients with blood pressure can improve their quality of life through Tai Chi exercises; the longer the time of practicing Tai Chi, the more significant the effect on the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients.
