Effect of link quality control under target management monitoring on the incidence of complications in elderly patients after hip fracture surgery

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of link quality control under the monitoring of target management on the incidence of complications in elderly patients after hip fracture surgery. METHODS: 102 elderly patients who underwent hip fracture surgery in Ningde Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2019 to August 2020 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 51 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received routine nursing intervention, and the patients in the observation group received link quality control intervention under the monitoring of target management. The intervention for both groups lasted for 1 month. The compliance of rehabilitation exercise, hip joint motor function before and after nursing intervention, and the incidence of complications during nursing were compared between the two groups. RESULTS: The compliance rate of rehabilitation exercise in the observation group was 94. 12%, which was significantly higher than 78. 43% in the control group (P < 0. 05). After intervention, the scores of hip joint motor function of the two groups were significantly higher than those of the same group before intervention(both P < 0. 05). The scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P < 0. 05). The incidence of complications such as pressure injuries and lower extremity venous thrombosis in the observation group was 17. 64%, which was significantly lower than 45. 10% in the control group (P < 0. 05). CONCLUSION: The link quality control under the monitoring of target management can improve the compliance of rehabilitation exercise and scores of hip joint motor function of elderly patients with hip fractures, and reduce the incidence of complications.
