INTERVENTION: Auriculotherapy Other sample for convenience forming two groups with 10 people each: Experimental and Placebo. The intervention of the Experimental group will consist of the method of ear acupressure with mustard seeds, because they are spherical, about 2 mm in diameter, low cost and organic. The Placebo group will receive conventional polyurethane foam of density 26 kg / m3 in place of the seed, thus not being acupressure. Both seeds and foam will be trapped in micropore plaster over the therapeutic points of the ear for low back pain. The seeds and the foam will be placed on the points with the aid of a dissecting forceps, after cleaning the entire ear region with 70% alcohol. The points chosen were directed according to the ones described by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that are "Shen Men", "Kidney", "Sympathetic" and "Lumbar Spine". The latter will be stimulated with three seeds / foam, accompanying the design of the lumbar spine itself in the ear Participants will be instructed to gently seed the seeds about the points three times a day (when getting up, mid‐afternoon and before bed), lasting one minute at each point. The seeds will remain in the ear for seven days, until the next session. Each weekly session will be changed to the ear, alternating between right and left ear to avoid saturation of the points until the end of the treatment cycle. Each session will be initiated by the ear of the dominant side of the participant (right‐handed or left‐handed). CONDITION: Low Back Pain lower back pain; Women ; Low Back Pain ; Women M00‐M99 Women PRIMARY OUTCOME: It is expected that the asymmetry and temperature values in the lumbar region will be reduced, measured by infrared digital thermography in the Intervention group, after four weeks of auriculotherapy. It is expected to find a decrease in the values of kilograms‐gallows needed to cause pressure pain in the lumbar region in the intervention group, after four weeks of auriculotherapy. It is expected to find a reduction of the finger‐to‐floor measurement in centimeters in the Intervention group, with improvement in lumbar mobility in the Intervention group, after four weeks of auriculotherapy. The Roland‐Morris score for lumbar function in the Intervention group is expected to decrease after four weeks of auriculotherapy. SECONDARY OUTCOME: It is expected to find improved mobility, functionality and low back pain in female nursing professionals after four weeks of auriculotherapy. INCLUSION CRITERIA: Female nursing technical and auxiliaries professionals of the adult wards of the Hospital das Clínicas‐UFPE that provide direct care to hospitalized patients. BMI between 18.5 and 29.9. Age range between 20 and 50 years of age. Chronic lumbago (3 months ago). Self‐declaration of absence of a herniated disc, malignant tumor of any type, degenerative, infectious or rheumatic disease (rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis), or previous self‐reported lumbar spine surgery.
