Analysis of curative effect of Chinese medicine, electroacupuncture and acupuncture in the treatment of uterine fibroids.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the efficacy of oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of uterine fibroids. METHODS: 64 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 32 cases in each group. The treatment group should be treated with traditional Chinese medicine combined with electroacupuncture. The control group should be treated with traditional Chinese medicine alone. The treatment group should be treated continuously for 3 months. The control group should be treated with simple medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine was used for oral treatment, and the treatment was continued for 3 months. After the treatment was completed, the volume of uterine fibroids was checked. RESULTS: The average volume reduction rate of uterine fibroids in the combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and electroacupuncture was significantly higher than that of the simple traditional Chinese medicine treatment group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The effect of traditional Chinese medicine, electroacupuncture and acupuncture combined in the treatment of uterine fibroids is significantly better than that of the oral treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine alone. The treatment of uterine fibroids by oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine combined with electroacupuncture and acupuncture can be promoted and applied in clinical practice.
