The effect of the Application of Potassium Nitrate with the addition of Ozone on the Reduction of Sensitivity after Dental Whitening in the Office.

INTERVENTION: Dentin Desensitizing Agents Procedure/surgery Test group: 21 individuals will be submitted to the application of 5% Potassium Nitrate with 2% Sodium Flouride plus 16ppm of ozone for 10 minutes prior to tooth whitening with 35% hydrogen peroxide for up to 45 minutes, with repeated application for another 10 minutes after removing the bleaching gel. Control group: 21 individuals will be submitted to the application of 5% Potassium Nitrate with 2% Sodium Flouride for 10 minutes prior to tooth whitening with 35% hydrogen peroxide for up to 45 minutes, with repeated application for another 10 minutes after removing the bleaching gel. CONDITION: Pathological Conditions, Signs and Symptoms Pathological Conditions, Signs and Symptoms ; Pathological Conditions, Signs and Symptoms PRIMARY OUTCOME: Total or partial decrease in dentinal sensitivity after office bleaching with the application of a desensitizing agent based on potassium nitrate plus ozone SECONDARY OUTCOME: Secondary outcomes are not expected INCLUSION CRITERIA: The study will include: patients of both sexes, aged between 18 and 35 years; with the presence of all vital anterior teeth, never bleached or restored; with periodontal health; no history of spontaneous dental pain; who do not use toothpaste with desensitizing properties and are willing to return to future evaluations during the research period.
