INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Topical anaesthetic gel: A standardized amount of topical anaesthetic gel will be applied to the intended injection site using a sterile cotton applicator. The gel will remain undisturbed for 1 minute before local anaesthetic administration. Intervention2: Lignocaine lozenge: Participants will receive a lignocaine lozenge (Xynova 200 mg) as a pre‐procedural mucosal anaesthetic intervention. Children will be instructed to slowly suck the lozenge for a standardized duration of 2 minutes without chewing or swallowing to facilitate adequate mucosal contact and anaesthetic exposure. Following this period, participants will be instructed to expectorate (spit out) the remaining lozenge and saliva. A waiting period of 3 minutes after expectoration will be maintained before administration of local anesthesia. This standardized suck‐and‐spit protocol has been adopted to facilitate localized mucosal anaesthetic action while minimizing unnecessary systemic exposure. Control Intervention1: Topical anaesthetic gel: A standardized amount of topical anaesthetic gel will be applied to the intended injection site using a sterile cotton applicator. The gel will remain undisturbed for 1 minute before local anaesthetic administration. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: K049‐ Other and unspecified diseases ofpulp and periapical tissues PRIMARY OUTCOME: 1.To evaluate and compare pain responses during local anesthetic administration using the FLACC Scale and Wong Baker Faces pain rating scale. ; ; 2.To compare pain perception separately during Inferior alveolar nerve block and ; Maxillary buccal infiltration anesthesia ; Timepoint: baseline, 2 weeks SECONDARY OUTCOME: To measure & compare physiological responses, including heart rate & oxygen saturation, before, during & after local anesthetic administration. ; Timepoint: Baseline, 2 weeks INCLUSION CRITERIA: Children aged 10 to 14 years Requiring bilateral dental procedures necessitating either inferior alveolar nerve block or maxillary buccal infiltration anesthesia Cooperative patients with Frankl Rating Scale score three or four
