INTERVENTION: E02.190.599.750.750 Experimental group: 15 healthy and physically active men will receive five minutes of massage in the right elbow flexors. Placebo group: 15 healthy, physically active men will receive 5 minutes of massage with a probe of a closed ultrasound. Control group: Fifteen healthy, physically active men were rested for five minutes. They received no intervention. Allocation in groups will be random. CONDITION: C05.651.542 Muscle damage induced by exercise. ; C05.651.542 PRIMARY OUTCOME: Concentration of cretin kinase was evaluated by centrifugation of 8 Ml of blood, confirmed from an increase with statistical significance (p< 0.05) in the comparison between the pre and post intervention measurements. Maximum isometric force evaluated by isokinetic dynamometer, the magnitude of the force produced in N.m will be used for comparison between the moments evaluated (pre and post test) Muscle swelling assessed by ultrasonography; verified from an increase with statistical significance (p< 0.05) in the comparison between pre‐ and post‐intervention measurements. SECONDARY OUTCOME: Local temperature, evaluated by means of a thermostat, being considered a significant increase from the observation of a variation of at least 10% in the pre‐ and post‐intervention measurements. Muscle pain assessed by analogous visual scale, with a "zero" (no pain) scale at "ten" (maximum tolerated pain). verified from an increase with statistical significance (p< 0.05) in the comparison between pre‐ and post‐intervention measurements. Range of motion, assessed by means of goniometer, being considered an important increase with values with statistical significance (p< 0.05) in the comparison between the pre and post intervention measurements. INCLUSION CRITERIA: Healthy and physically active men; age between 18 and 25 years; have no lesions on the lower limbs or functional limitations that impede the performance of the tests.
