艾灸治疗高脂血症临床观察 / Clinical Observations on Moxibustion Treatment for Hyperlipemia

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical efficacy of moxibustion on points Fenglong（ST 40） and Zusanli（ST 36） in treating hyperlipemia. METHODS: Sixty-six patients were randomly allocated to a treatment group of 34 cases, who received moxibustion on points Fenglong and Zusanli and a control group of 32 cases, who took Pravastatin tablets orally. Total cholesterol （TC）, triglyceride （TG）, low density lipoprotein-cholesterol （LDL-C） and high density lipoproteinholesterol （HDL-C） were measured in the two groups of patients before and after treatment. RESULTS: There were no statistically significant differences in TC and TG regulation and the total efficacy rate between the two groups （P〉0.05）. Conclusion: Moxibustion on points Fenglong and Zusanli has a better regulating effect on blood lipids
