A study to compare laser treatment with and without vitamin C injections for reducing dark gums in adults.

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Laser depigmentation with vitamin C Injection: Laser depigmentation will be done and vitamin C injection will be given post laser treatment at baseline 1st week 2nd week and 3rd week and gingival pigmentation inde Xand digital image analysis will be assessed at baseline, 3 months and 6 months and visual analog scale score at day 1 and day 7 Control Intervention1: Laser depigmentation alone: Only laser depigmentation will be done and gingival pigmentation inde Xand digital image analysis will be assessed at baseline, 3 months and 6 months and visual analog scale score at day 1 and day 7 and will be compared with laser with adjunctive vitamin C injection CONDITION: Health Condition 1: K068‐ Other specified disorders of gingiva and edentulous alveolar ridge PRIMARY OUTCOME: Evaluation of clinical periodontal parameters including Gingival pigmentation Index GPI and Digital image analysis ImageJ following gingival depigmentation with Laser and vitamin C injection and with only Laser ; ; Timepoint: Baseline 3 months and 6 months ; SECONDARY OUTCOME: Visual analog scale scoreTimepoint: Day 1 and day 7 INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1.Systemically healthy individuals aged 18 to 45 years. 2.GPI score of 2 3.Patients seeking esthetic treatment for gingival pigmentation. 4.Patients willing to participate and provide written informed consent. 5.Patients able to attend follow‐up visits.
