Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the joints and skin in people who have psoriasis (PsO). The main aim of the study is to know how well zasocitinib (TAK-279) works and how safe it is in participants with active PsA who have not previously received biological medicines. The study will assess whether zasocitnib helps improve symptoms and slows or prevents further joint damage. Participants will have signs of inflammation in their blood and damage in at least two joints of their hands and feet. Participants will receive either zasocitinib or placebo during the first 24 weeks of the study. After week 24, all participants will receive zasocitinib through week 52. Participants will be in the study for up to 61 weeks.
