Systematic Evaluation of Efficacy of Acupuncture Therapy of Optic Nervous atrophy and Analysis of Mesh Meta

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of optic nerve atrophy using a mesh meta model based on frequency statistical data filling strategy. Randomized controlled experiments/semi-randomized controlled trials (RCT/CCT) included in the Database (CBM), Chinese Journal Full Text Database (CNKI), and the Global Resource Database Building to June 2016, with quality and bias risk assessment of each included study by two researchers in accordance with the Cochrane Manual 5.1.0 criteria. Results were incorporated into 16 studies, 1 369 sample. The results of the mesh meta analysis showed that the “best” outcomes for each treatment were: Western medicine (10.5%), acupuncture (5.9%), acupuncture (4.4%), acupuncture + Chinese medicine (4.7%), acupuncture (8.0%), acupuncture + Chinese medicine (4.9%), acupuncture (3.2%), acupuncture Need+Chinese medicine (4.3%), Chinese medicine (10.1%), Chinese medicine (6.7%), needle+Western medicine (3.4%), Western medicine is best efficacy. Acupuncture combined with Western medicine has an advantage over the use of Western medicine alone (P<0.05). Because none of the literature included describes the occurrence of adverse conditions, the safety evaluation cannot be obtained. The relatively few studies of generational medicine have not yet been able to make a modern medical mechanism Conclusion Western medicine, Chinese medicine and electroneedle are likely to be the best treatment for this disease, but the exact conclusions need to be further validated by high-quality clinical studies.
