3D glasses may improve adherence to treatment in Glaucoma patients that use only one eyedrop. A clinical study.

INTERVENTION: Device Experimental group: 35 patients with glaucoma, watch an 8‐minute‐video, which provides information regarding glaucoma and its consequences. The video is realistic and simulates the real sight loss of the disease. Control group: 35 patients with glaucoma receive information about the disease through leaflets, with eye figures and short text information. The stratification in the randomization guarantees that the more severe glaucoma patients (those on polytherapy) and the less severe glaucoma patients (those on monotherapy) are in the same proportion in both 3D and control group. Measurements of intraocular pressure (IOP), corneal pachymetry, and visual field are taken in the first and 3‐month appointment. The ophthalmologists are blind concerning the patients in both appointments. Virtual Reality CONDITION: Glaucoma Glaucoma ; Glaucoma PRIMARY OUTCOME: We seek to find a difference in intraocular pressure (IOP) reduction, after 3‐month treatment, between 3D and control group, in favor of the 3D group in the average of 1.5 mmHg, from the average of three consecutive measurements in Goldman's tonometer. SECONDARY OUTCOME: We seek to find significant differences in the measurements of the visual field, pachimetry and optical coherence tomography between both 3D and control groups, in the range of 5% between the groups. We applied a Topcon DRI – Triton for pachimetry and OCT measurements, and Achromatic Perimetry Visual Field Humphrey 2 – 740 central 24‐2 White White ; INCLUSION CRITERIA: We included glaucoma patients with age equal to or above 18; who were already being treated at our clinics; with the minimal visual acuity 20/40 according to the Snellen table
