Effects of Exercise, Electrical muscle stimulation and Pain education on psychological, functional and muscular parameters of patients with low back pain, classified by risk of poor prognosis

INTERVENTION: This study is classified as a randomized clinical trial. The sample will be composed of both volunteers without musculoskeletal or systemic disorders that compromise or contraindicate physical activity, as well as volunteers with a clinical diagnosis of chronic low back pain of both sexes and aged between 18 and 59. A total of 150 volunteers will be distributed into 24 groups considering si Xintervention modalities and the four groups related to the risk of poor prognosis. Type of intervention received: Placebo Neuromuscular Electrostimulation and Lumbopelvic Stabilization Training, 20 Hz Neuromuscular Electrostimulation and Lumbopelvic Stabilization Training; Neuromuscular Electrostimulation 20 Hz and Lumbopelvic Stabilization and Imagery Training, Neuromuscular Electrostimulation 80 Hz and Lumbopelvic Stabilization Training, Neuromuscular Electrostimulation 80 Hz and Lumbopelvic Stabilization and Imagery Training, Lumbopelvic Stabilization and Imagery Training. Groups related to the risk of poor prognosis for volunteers with Chronic Low Back Pain classified according to the Start Back Screening Tool questionnaire, as low risk, moderate risk, high risk and control group with volunteers without musculoskeletal disorders and no risk of poor prognosis. The randomization will be for the interventions, through electronic randomization with the help of the resource available on a website and the volunteers will be matched by the risk of poor prognosis. In total there will be si Xweeks of intervention, with three weekly sessions, totaling 18 sessions CONDITION: Low back pain M54.5 PRIMARY OUTCOME: It is expected that the groups that receive neuromuscular electrostimulation and lumbopelvic stabilization training show an increase in trunk extension strength, verified in the isometric strength and resistance test in extension, when compared to the groups that do not receive the stimulus. SECONDARY OUTCOME: It is expected that the groups that receive neuromuscular electrical stimulation and lumbopelvic stabilization training show improvements in biopsychosocial and functional aspects, quantified by the “STarT Back Screening Tool” questionnaire, when compared to the groups that do not receive the stimulus. It is expected that the groups that receive neuromuscular electrostimulation and lumbopelvic stabilization training present a decrease in low back pain, identified by the intensity of pain measured by the visual analogue scale, when compared to the groups that do not receive the stimulus. INCLUSION CRITERIA: group control; age between 18 and 59 years; physically inactive; deny history of systemic diseases that limit or contraindicate the walk tests; or chronic or acute musculoskeletal disorders in the lower limbs and/or spine; chronic low back pain groups; age between 18 and 59 years; physically inactive; persistent low back pain for more than three months; physical characteristics compatible with mechanical etiology according to the evaluation and treatment guidelines proposed by the American College of Physicians and the American Pain Society
