INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Valsalva Manouvre: Patients will be instructed to perform the Valsalva manoeuvre by blowing into a sphygmomanometer tube, having an open needle cap at its end thus making the tube reusable for subsequent patients and maintaining the dial at 30 mmHg for 20 seconds, immediately before induction. Control Intervention1: Nil: Nil Control Intervention2: Control group: Patients in control group will not perform any intervention or manouvre. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: T885‐ Other complications of anesthesia PRIMARY OUTCOME: The primary outcome variable will be the severity of pain during propofol injection, assessed using a 10point Visual Analogue Scale and a 4 point Withdrawal Response Score 2 equals moderate pain 3 equals severe pain.Timepoint: Measurements to be taken at 20 seconds after propofol injection pain SECONDARY OUTCOME: The secondary outcome variables will include the haemodynamic parameters systolic blood pressure , diastolic blood pressure , mean blood pressure , heart rate recorded at baseline , one,two and five minutes after the manoeuvre.Timepoint: Measurements to be taken at one, two, five minutes after propofol injection. INCLUSION CRITERIA: Adult patients aged above 18 years of either gender, scheduled for GA using Propofol. ASA physical status I or II.
