Effectiveness of individualized homoeopathy in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Individualized Homoeopathic medicine: Individualized Homoeopathic medicine in centesimal potencies following the principles of Homoeopathy will be prescribed orally in required doses and frequency as determined by each case along with the suggested therapies (as advised by the Investigators at NIEPMD such as Speech therapy, Behavioral therapy, Occupational therapy and Special Education) Control Intervention1: Placebo: Placebo in required doses and frequency will be administered orally along with suggested therapies (as advised by the Investigators at NIEPMD such as Speech therapy, Behavioral therapy, Occupational therapy and Special Education) CONDITION: Health Condition 1: F840‐ Autistic disorder PRIMARY OUTCOME: To assess and compare the change in ISAA Score in clinical improvement of Autism Spectrum DisorderTimepoint: from baseline, at 3rd, 6th month, 9th,12th,15th, 18th, 21st and 24th month SECONDARY OUTCOME: To assess and compare the change in PEP and AA‐PEP(above 12 yrs.)score from baseline, at 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th,15th,18th,21st and 24th months for improvement in psycho‐educational skill of children in Autism Spectrum DisorderTimepoint: Baseline, 3rd , 6th, 9th,12th,15th, 18th, 21st and 24th months To assess and compare the change in VSMS score from baseline, at 3rd, 6th month, 9th,12th,15th, 18th, 21st and 24th month for improvement in Social Quotient of children in Autism spectrum disorderTimepoint: Baseline, 3rd , 6th, 9th,12th,15th, 18th, 21st and 24th months INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1. Children in the age group from 3 to 15 years. 2. Children of both sexes including Male & Female. 3. Diagnosed cases of ASD as per DSM â?? 5 and AIIMS Modified INDT ASD diagnostic tool
