Clinical study on the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with Qinglong Baiwei combined with muscle knots acupuncture

INTERVENTION: Observation group:Acupuncture at the muscle knots using the Qinglong Baiwei Method;Control group :Conventional acupuncture at the muscle knots; CONDITION: Knee osteoarthritis PRIMARY OUTCOME: Western Ontario and Mc Master University(WOMAC); SECONDARY OUTCOME: Visual Analogue Scale/Score(VAS);Interleukin‐1ß(IL‐1ß);Interleukin‐6((IL‐6);BoneG‐Gla Protein(BGP);Calcitonin(CT);Osteoprotegerin(OPG); INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for KOA of the American College of Rheumatology; 2) Pain numerical rating scale, namely VAS score =7; 3) Age 40‐75 years (including 40 and 75 years); 4) Discontinue analgesics and steroid medications during the trial; 5) Willing to sign the informed consent form.
