A randomized controlled trial to verify the effect of oral care using honey on the oral health of stroke patients

INTERVENTION: Dietary Supplement : * Experimental group: Oral nursing using honey (use for one oral nursing: 30 ml honey) * Control group: Oral nursing with physiological saline (use for one oral nursing: 20 ml physiological saline) Both the experimental group and the control group performed oral nursing twice a day (30 minutes after breakfast and dinner) for two weeks by wetting the inside of the oral nursing agent in gauze according to the oral nursing protocol. CONDITION: Diseases of the circulatory system PRIMARY OUTCOME: Oral status SECONDARY OUTCOME: Dental plaque index Xerostomia INCLUSION CRITERIA: ? a stroke patient over the age of 19 ? A person who falls under "when a task cannot be performed" to "when minimum help or monitoring is required" in the personal hygiene category of the Korean version of the Modified Barthel Inde X(K‐MBI) to confirm his/her ability to perform daily life
