Clinical effect of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of uterine fibroids.

OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of uterine fibroids. METHODS: This study selected 200 patients with uterine fibroids admitted to our hospital from December 2018 to December 2019, and randomly divided them into a control group and an experimental group. The control group received western medicine intervention (mifepristone), and the experimental group performed acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine decoction treatment. After analyzing different treatment interventions, the satisfaction rate of the treatment of patients with uterine fibroids, the occurrence of clinical adverse reactions, and the treatment efficiency of the patients were analyzed. RESULTS: The treatment satisfaction rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P＜0.05); the treatment efficiency of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P＜0.05); the incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower than that of the control group (P＜0.05). CONCLUSION: The use of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine decoction to treat uterine fibroids can effectively improve the patient’s satisfaction rate and effective rate of treatment, and reduce the clinical adverse reactions of patients. Research and promotion are recommended.
