A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group clinical trial on the efficacy and safety of Qinshen Qingrun Herbal Toothpaste for inhibiting dental plaque

INTERVENTION: Intervention Group:Brushing teeth with Qinshen Qingrun Herbal Toothpaste following the Modified Bass brushing technique.;Control Group:Brushing teeth with a placebo toothpaste following the Modified Bass brushing technique.; CONDITION: Dental Plaque PRIMARY OUTCOME: Plaque Index(PLI ); SECONDARY OUTCOME: Oral soft and hard tissue safety examination (OSHT); INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1.Healthy male or female individuals aged 18 to 65 years (inclusive). 2.In good general health, free from significant systemic diseases. 3.Have at least 20 evaluable teeth (with healthy oral conditions, no orthodontic appliances, no full‐coverage restorations, no acute gingivitis or other periodontal diseases, no carious lesions requiring treatment, no pulpal or periapical pathologies). 4.Able to read, sign, and receive a signed copy of the informed consent form. 5.Willing and able to comply with scheduled visit times, treatment plan, and other study procedures. 6.Not participating in any other clinical trial during the study period. 7.Agree to refrain from using any non‐study toothpaste or mouthwash during the trial. 8.Agree to postpone any non‐emergency dental examination, including dental prophylaxis (scaling), until the completion of the trial follow‐up.
