The Effect of Chiglitazar on Pancreatic Islet Function and Metabolism in Patients with Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes: A Randomized Controlled Open-Label Trial

INTERVENTION: Intervention group:Chiglitazar sodium 48mg+ metformin (>=1000mg);Control group:Fixed‐dose DPP4i (daily dosage) + metformin (>=1000mg); CONDITION: Type 2 diabetes PRIMARY OUTCOME: Oral glucose tolerance test; SECONDARY OUTCOME: HbA1c;Insulin;Glucagon;Total cholesterol;Total cholesterol;High density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL‐C);Low density lipoprotein cholesterin(LDL‐C);Weight;Weight;Incidence of adverse events; INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1.Subjects must meet all of the following criteria to be enrolled in this trial: Diabetes diagnosis (WHO1999 standard) HBA1C 6.5% ‐ 9%; 2.Age: 18‐75 years old; 3.Newly diagnosed diabetes without treatment; 4.Negative GADA‐Ab test; 5.Voluntarily sign the informed consent form and agree to enter the experimental group.
