Summary:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group using the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given celecoxib capsules orally. treatment, the treatment group was given electroacupuncture treatment. 14 days constituted a course of treatment. The levels of serum related cytokines (apelin, TNFα, TNFsR-Ⅰ, TNFsR-Ⅱ, IL-1β and IL-6) in the two groups and the WOMAC bone density before and after treatment were observed. Changes in arthritis scores and visual analogue scores (VAS). Results There were statistically significant differences in the total score, pain, stiffness, and functional disability in the WOMAC osteoarthritis scores between the two groups before and after treatment (P<0.05); Comparing the total WOMAC score, stiffness and dysfunction, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Comparing the VAS scores of the two groups before and after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); Comparing the VAS scores of the two groups after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance (P>0.05). The difference in IL-6, TNFα and TNFsR-Ⅰ between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant (P<0.05); the comparison of IL-1β levels in the control group before and after treatment was statistically significant. Significance (P<0.05); Comparison of apelin levels in the treatment group before and after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), Comparison of apelin levels between the two groups after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture in the treatment of knee The curative effect of osteoarthritis is satisfactory, it can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients, and it can provide analgesia and relieve symptoms by regulating the expression of cytokine
