Effect Of Patient Education Tools On Anxiety And Oral Health Related Quality Of Life In Orthodontic Patients And Their Caregivers: a Randomized Clinical Evaluation

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Orthodontic treatment: Fixed and removable orthodontic treatment, retainer use after orthodontic treatment Control Intervention1: Pretreatment records: questionnaire scores before the beginning of orthodontic treatment CONDITION: PRIMARY OUTCOME: Anxiety assessmentTimepoint: T1‐ Before showing brochure and multimedia video ; T2‐ After showing the brochure and multimedia video ; T3‐ 2 months after start of orthodontic treatment. ; T4‐ On the day of retainer delivery ; T5‐ 2 months after retainer use. ; SECONDARY OUTCOME: Oral Health Related Quality of lifeTimepoint: T1‐ Before showing brochure & multimedia video & before the start of orthodontic treatment ; T2‐after one month from start of treatment. ; INCLUSION CRITERIA: pt in need of orthodontic treatment with fixed orthodontics or aligners
