INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Bilateral Erector Spinae Plane block: After computer generated block randomization, patients undergoing eTEP surgery coming in the interventional group will be given bilateral erector spinae plane block under ultrasound guidance at the level of T10 using 20 ml of 0.25% Bupivacaine on each side, after the procedure end operatively prior to extubation. Duration approximately 15 minutes Control Intervention1: Local infiltration at trocar insertion sites: After computer generated block randomization, patients undergoing eTEP surgery coming in the control group will be given local infiltration at the trocar insertion sites using a total of 10 ml of 0.25% Bupivacaine, end operatively prior to extubation. Duration approximately 5 minutes. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: O‐ Medical and Surgical Health Condition 2: K402‐ Bilateral inguinal hernia, withoutobstruction or gangrene Health Condition 3: K409‐ Unilateral inguinal hernia, without obstruction or gangrene PRIMARY OUTCOME: To compare the NRS pain scores at fixed time points in the post operative period between patients getting Bilateral Erector Spinae Plane block and Local infiltration at the trocar insertion sitesTimepoint: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 18 hours, 24 hours SECONDARY OUTCOME: To assess the incidence of adverse effects like post operative nausea vomiting, local anaesthetic systemic toxicity, pneumothora Xbetween the groupsTimepoint: On POD 0 & POD 1 To assess the quality of recovery at 24 hour post operative period between the groupsTimepoint: 24 hours To compare the 24 hour post operative analgesic consumption between the groupsTimepoint: 24 hours To compare the time taken to first rescue post operative analgesia in patients getting Bilateral Erector Spinae Plane block vs Local infiltration at the trocar insertion sitesTimepoint: On POD 0 & POD 1 INCLUSION CRITERIA: Patients undergoing Laparoscopic Extended Total Extraperitoneal Inguinal Hernia Repair surgery ASA PS I to III BMI less than 35 kilograms per square meter
