INTERVENTION: Exercise Exercise Therapy Other Volunteers were randomly distributed, using the online software Randomization.com, in two groups: the Strengthening Group with Vibration, with 22 volunteers, who performed isometric abdominal exercises of the frontal and lateral plank type (right and left) and the Strengthening Group Without Vibration, with 22 volunteers, who performed the same protocol, but without vibration. Each group was submitted to 24 intervention sessions, which took place three times a week, on alternate days, totaling eight weeks. The protocols lasted 5 minutes and 30 seconds. STRENGTHENING PROTOCOL WITH VIBRATION The 22 volunteers were asked to perform isometric abdominal exercises: front board, right and left side board. The vibration protocol consisted of 30 seconds of contraction for each type of board (front board, right side and left side) with an interval of two minutes of rest between them. To perform isometric abdominal exercises such as the frontal plank and the right and left lateral planks, the volunteers supported their bare feet on a vibrating platform (Weslo Vibe Tech 14.0; Speed: Vibrations from 26Hz to 45Hz; Frequency: 50 / 60Hz), and the upper limbs remained supported on a fixed, stable surface at the same height as the platform base. The vibrating platform was adjusted to a frequency of 30Hz and 2 mm of oscillation, remaining on during the exercises. Altogether, the intervention lasted five minutes and 30 seconds. STRENGTHENING PROTOCOL WITHOUT VIBRATION The 22 volunteers performed the same protocols for isometric abdominal exercises of the frontal plank and the right and left lateral plank with the feet resting on the vibrating platform and the upper limbs on a fixed surface of the same height as the platform, however the execution of the entir CONDITION: M00‐M99 Muscle Weakness Muscle weakness ; Muscle Weakness PRIMARY OUTCOME: Increased electrical activity of the rectus abdominis muscle, assessed using an 8‐channel electromyograph (model W4X8, Biometrics Ltd., UK), through intra and intergroup comparison for a 5% significance level.; ; Increase in the cutaneous temperature of the abdominal region, assessed by means of a thermographic camera model FLIR T360, through intra and intergroup comparison for a significance level of 5%. SECONDARY OUTCOME: ; 507/5000 ; Reduction of waist circumference measures, measured by means of a tape measure, through intra and intergroup comparison to a significance level of 5%. ; Reduction of abdominal and suprailiac skinfolds measured by a CESCORF plicometer, through intra‐ and intergroup comparison to a significance level of 5%. ; Abdominal fat percentage reduction, measured by means of a Tanita bioimpedance scale, through intra and intergroup comparison to a 5% significance level. INCLUSION CRITERIA: Healthy volunteers; both genders; age between 18 and 30 years; Normal BMI; sedentary; able to perform training on a vibrating platform.
