INTERVENTION: Questionnaire; Randomised controlled trial. Random allocation to: 1. Treatment A ‐ oral antibiotics 2. Treatment B ‐ bathing in potassium permanganate CONDITION: Atopic dermatitis ; Skin and Connective Tissue Diseases ; Atopic dermatitis PRIMARY OUTCOME: Quality of life during and after the trial measured by the Children's Dermatitis Quality of Life Index SECONDARY OUTCOME: Not provided at time of registration INCLUSION CRITERIA: Patients will be recruited from St James's University Hospital (SJUH) and Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) Outpatients Dermatology Clinic who has infected eczema (age range 3 months to 16 years)
