In low- and middle-income countries, particularly the Lao People\'s Democratic Republic, limited infrastructure and constrained educational access create competency gaps and limited training opportunities for emergency nurses. As existing evidence primarily involves high-resource settings, its applicability to low-resource settings is limited. Therefore, an Official Development Assistance-derived, culturally tailored emergency nursing training program was developed for the Lao People\'s Democratic Republic, and its effectiveness will be evaluated. This quasi-experimental study will used a single-group pre-test-post-test design, with data collected using practical performance assessments and self-administered surveys. The six-session program (three lectures and three activities) will be preceded by pre-learning videos and handouts to standardize baseline knowledge. Guided by Kirkpatrick\'s model, the outcomes include program satisfaction (Level 1: Reaction), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and triage knowledge (Level 2: Learning), CPR core skills, triage skills, and emergency nurses\' professional competency (Level 3: Behavior). Continuous data will be analyzed using the paired t-test or Wilcoxon signed-rank test, depending on normality.
