ABSTRACT: OBJEVTIVE: To analyze the clinical characteristics and medication of 225 patients with common type and severe new type coronavirus pneumonia in Wanzhou District, Chongqing. METHODS: Extract the epidemiological history, symptoms, examination indexes, and traditional Chinese medicine data of HIS system patients, construct a database, and analyze the frequency and correlation of related indexes. RESULTS: New coronavirus pneumonia was mainly imported cases, accounting for 89.33%. The most common symptoms are cough (64.89%), fever (59.11%), insomnia (29.78%), expectoration (23.56%), anorexia (21.34%), and fatigue (18.67%). Decreased lymphocyte count, decreased CD4+ and CD8+ counts, decreased albumin, and increased hypersensitivity CRP, especially in severe cases. Among them, lymphocyte count, CD4+ and CD8+ counts are negatively correlated with disease severity, hypersensitivity C-reactive protein It is positively correlated with the severity of the disease. Albumin has a downward trend within 1 week after admission. About 50% of cases have chest CT progress to varying degrees within 1 week, which is positively correlated with albumin levels. 195 people intervened with traditional Chinese medicine, 87% participation rate, 345 people intervened with traditional Chinese medicine, the main choices were Maxing Shigan Decoction (20.29%), Shashen Maidong Decoction (13.62%), Sanren Decoction (10.14%), Qianjin Reed Soup (9.85%), Huopu Xialing Decoction (8.4%), basically consistent with symptomatic performance. CONCLUSION: New coronaviruses are generally susceptible, with the majority of middle-aged and elderly people, and the main treatment points in Wanzhou area are imported cases. Lymphocyte counts, CD4+ and CD8+ counts, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein can be used as indicators for evaluating the severity of the new coronavirus pneumonia disease. Albumin and chest CT can be used as predictors for the progression of the new coronavirus pneumonia. The core pathogenesis of the new coronavirus pneumonia in Chinese medicine is summarized as "wet, heat, poison, and deficiency", and the main treatment principle is "Xuanfei Huaxi, clearing heat and detoxifying, benefiting qi and nourishing yin".
