The Effect of Blue and Red LED Lights on Pimples on the Face

INTERVENTION: E02.594.540 This is a controlled, randomized, blinded, 4 arm study. The Group 1 will have 36 participants who will wear a mask with blue LEDs at a wavelength of 415 nm (plus or minus 20 nm), 3 times a week for 12 sessions. In each session, the participant will be positioned in the supine position on a stretcher. After, the face will be sanitized with soap with physiological pH and removed with gauze moistened with water. Then we will place a disposable protective film and the mask will be positioned on it, close to the face, excluding the nasal and eye region. Its operating time is 7 minutes. Goggles will be worn by the participant and the applicator. After the procedure, we will apply sunscreen. Assessments will be made on the first, fifteenth and thirtieth day of treatment through before and after photos by a dermatologist. The Group 2 will have 36 participants who will wear a mask with red LEDs at a wavelength of 660 nm (plus or minus 20 nm), 3 times a week for 12 sessions. In each session, the participant will be positioned in the supine position on a stretcher. After, the face will be sanitized with soap with physiological pH and removed with gauze moistened with water. Then we will place a disposable protective film and the mask will be positioned on it, close to the face, excluding the nasal and eye region. Its operating time is 7 minutes. The Group 3 will have 36 participants who will wear a mask with blue LEDs at 415 nm wavelength (plus or minus 20 nm), and red LEDs at 660 nm wavelength (plus or minus 20 nm), 3 times a week, during 12 sess CONDITION: acne vulgaris PRIMARY OUTCOME: The appearance and reduction of lesions will be verified through clinical analysis of the photos, verifying the reduction of erythema and general appearance of the skin. SECONDARY OUTCOME: The degree of patient satisfaction will be evaluated through a questionnaire given to the participant at the end of the treatment. INCLUSION CRITERIA: People aged 12 to 25 years of either se Xwho have inflammatory acne grades 2 and 3.People who do not have any disease that interferes with the worsening of acne. During the anamnesis if there is any disease the pictures will be discussed with the dermatologist.
