A thin-body frequency averaged quadratic pressure (TFAQP) formulation is derived for the numerical solution of the acoustic radiation from thin bodies subjected to broadband random excitations. The singular kernel of 1/r2 and hypersingular kernel of 1/r3, respectively, are solved by the explicit evaluation method with constant elements. Numerical example is given to verify the formulation for predicting the pressure radiated from thin bodies under broadband random excitations. © S. Hirzel Verlag · EAA.
