Efficacy of Acupuncture versus Sham Acupuncture in Idiopathic Tinnitus: a Randomized Controlled Trial

INTERVENTION: Acupuncture group:Acupuncture;Sham acupuncture group:Sham acupuncture; CONDITION: idiopathic tinnitus PRIMARY OUTCOME: tinnitus handicap inventory; SECONDARY OUTCOME: Visual analogue scale;Hamilton Anxiety Scale;Hamilton Depression Scale;5‐Hydroxytryptamine;gamma‐aminobutyric acid;brain‐derived neurotrophic factor; INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1. Meet the above diagnostic criteria for idiopathic tinnitus, and the THI score >= 18 points 2. Good compliance, age 18 65 years old, gender is not limited; 3. The course of tinnitus is > 3 months, and it is sudden or aggravated due to emotional changes; 4. Willing to receive acupuncture treatment and can cooperate with the completion of venous blood sampling and tinnitus assessment scale; 5. Voluntarily sign the informed consent form.
