A study to evaluate the effects of upper limb support during treadmill training with partial body weight support on postural reactions and gait parameters in incomplete spinal cord injury (pilot study)

INTERVENTION: An experimental design with 2 conditions with patients randomly allocated to the conditions: 1. 15‐40% PBWS with upper limb support 2. 15‐40% PBWS with no upper limb support. CONDITION: Musculoskeletal Diseases: Spinal cord injury ; Musculoskeletal Diseases ; Spinal cord injury PRIMARY OUTCOME: Measures will be taken prior to and after completing 12 sessions for each individual in each experimental condition. SECONDARY OUTCOME: Not provided at time of registration INCLUSION CRITERIA: Patients who have had as incomplete spinal cord injury (ISCI) and who are undergoing active rehabilitation at the NSIC within 1 year of injury.
