INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Alkasite restorative material Cention N: Alkasite based restorative material used for restoration of occlusal carious lesion in permanent molar teeth. It will be mixed and placed according to manufacturers instruction. The total duration of intervention is 12 to 15 months. Control Intervention1: Giomer restorative material Beautifil II: Giomer based restorative material used as an active control or comparator for restoration of occlusal carious lesions in permanent molar teeth. It will be placed and light cured according to manufacturer instruction. The total duration of intervention is 12 to 15 months. CONDITION: PRIMARY OUTCOME: The principal aim is to evaluate and compare the clinical effectiveness of alkasities and giomer as restorative material in treating occlusal carious lesions in permanent molar teeth of children aged 7 to 13 years over a specified periodTimepoint: Baseline, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and 15 months post restoration SECONDARY OUTCOME: Retention and Marginal Integrity :Monitoring changes in restoration retention and marginal adaptation to assess durability and stability of restorations over follow up period ; Incidence of Secondary Caries: Recording the occurrence of new carious lesions to evaluate preventive effectiveness of both materials ; Postoperative Sensitivity: Documenting patient reported sensitivity to thermal or mechanical stimuli to assess comfort and functional acceptability of restorations ; Anatomical Form and Wear Resistance: Evaluating changes in occlusal anatomy and wear resistance to determine long term functional performance of both materials ; Surface Characteristics, Marginal Discoloration and Color Match: Assessing marginal discoloration and shade harmony with adjacent tooth structure to evaluate esthetic acceptability of restorations ; Timepoint: 12 to 15 months INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1.children with age group 7 to 13 years for whom consent was obtained. 2.occlusal surface of permanent molar with International Caries Detection and Assessment System score ranging from 3 to 5. 3. children with oral hygiene score of 0.0 to 1.2 4. Frankls Behaviour rating scale score of 3 to 4
