Short-term and long-term efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of chronic urticaria: a randomized, double-dummy, parallel controlled study

INTERVENTION: Experimental group :acupuncture + placebo drugs ;control group:Ebastine + sham acupuncture; CONDITION: chronic urticaria PRIMARY OUTCOME: Improvement in UAS7 at week 20 compared with UAS7 at baseline; SECONDARY OUTCOME: Improvement in UAS7 at week 4 compared with UAS7 at baseline;Dermatology Life Quality Index;Visual Analogue Scale of itching;Self‐Rating Anxiety Scale;Self‐Rating Depression Scale; INCLUSION CRITERIA: (1) Patients who met the diagnostic criteria of chronic spontaneous urticaria in the EAACI/GA2LEN/EDF/WAO guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of urticaria (2017 edition) and the Chinese Urticaria Guidelines (2014 edition); (2) those aged 18 to 70 years old; (3) no use of antihistamines within 2 weeks before study entry, no use of steroids or immunosuppressive drugs within 1 month; (4) clinical investigators with UAS7=16 before entering the study; (5) not participating in other ongoing clinical investigators; (6) signed informed consent and volunteered to participate in the study.
