BRIEF SUMMARY: Primary Research objectives: 1) To explore the effects of laughter therapy on the psychological health and quality of life of hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients. Secondary Research OBJECTIVES: To understand the changes in psychological health and quality of life of hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year post-transplantation; To explore the application effects of laughter therapy on prognostic and other outcome indicators of hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients. DETAILED DESCRIPTION: This study will recruit patients who will undergo hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for the first time between December 1, 2024, and December 1, 2025, using a single-center, prospective, parallel randomized controlled trial. The control group received routine nursing care and routine continuing care after discharge. The intervention group received laughter therapy starting 1 day post-transplantation, from 1 day post-transplantation until discharge. The laughter commands were repeated 30 times per session, including "hihihi (pinyin pronunciation), hahaha, eggplant eggplant, 7-Up 7-Up 7-Up, hahahahahaha," once a day. After leaving the isolation ward and being discharged from the hospital, patients in the intervention group received intensive online laughter therapy intervention, once a week, repeating the command 30 times, until one year post-transplantation. At 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year post-transplantation, the two groups were compared in terms of prognosis, fatigue, anxiety and depression, well-being, post-traumatic growth, quality of life, and outcome indicators to clarify the effect of laughter therapy on the mental health and quality of life of hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients.
