INTERVENTION: E02.190 F04.711.647.513.886 The clinical trial will consist of two groups to control the study: the placebo group (will receive points that do not influence anxiety) and the intervention group (will receive the treatment considered appropriate for anxiety). Two instruments will be used to collect the data: a demographic partner and a scale to assess trait anxiety and state anxiety. The applied randomization will be simple, the randomness and allocation of these participants will be carried out through a program www.random.org. The blinding of the research will be double‐blind, where the researcher and the participants do not interfere in the analysis. A researcher who will not participate in the statistical analysis will be responsible for the randomization procedures. The points chosen for the reduction of anxiety, intervention group, were through the beta version of the Auricular Protocol for Pain & Anxiety ‐ APPA: Shenmen points, tranquilizer, thalamus, autonomic or sympathetic system and zero point. For the placebo group, the chosen points were sham (false), these being that of the stomach, throat and sciatica, which have no indication for the treatment of anxiety. Each group will have 105 participants who will be all students enrolled in Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy, have availability for scheduled sessions, not being pregnant, being over 18, not undergoing any other anxiety treatment and accepting to participate of research. The questionnaires will be applied at the beginning, after 4 sessions and at the end of the treatment, as a comparative evolution criter CONDITION: Auriculotherapy; Anxiety; Students; Mental health PRIMARY OUTCOME: Improvement of symptoms and anxiety levels, verified through the practice of auriculotherapy for 8 weeks.; SECONDARY OUTCOME: Improvement of anxiety levels and in relation to studies, after the 2nd session of auriculotherapy. ; INCLUSION CRITERIA: students enrolled in Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy; schedule time for those scheduled; be over 18 years old.
