INTERVENTION: F01.829.263.370.290 F02.808 This is a randomized clinical trial with a 1:1 allocation ratio, controlled, blinded to evaluators, with two parallel groups and prospective. Experimental group: 25 premature newborns, born with gestational age equal to or less than 32 weeks of gestational age and hospitalized in neonatal intensive care, will receive the sensory‐motor stimulation protocol in three stages, in addition to the conventional treatment of the Kangaroo Method, the which consists of guided parental participation and three stimulation techniques for neuropsychomotor development: skin‐to‐skin contact, multisensory and kinesthetic stimulation and Tummy Time practice. Each technique consists of a neonatal care stage, respectively: intensive care unit, kangaroo unit and outpatient follow‐up. Control group: 25 premature newborns, born with gestational age equal to or less than 32 weeks of gestational age and admitted to neonatal intensive care, will receive conventional care using the Kangaroo Method in the same three stages. CONDITION: Other low birth weight infants; Other preterm newborns PRIMARY OUTCOME: Evaluate the impact of the early and structured intervention protocol on the global development of preterm infants at six months of corrected age for prematurity, verified by the assessment of neuromotor development, based on standardized instruments, at the beginning and end of each of the study stages and at six months of corrected age for prematurity, in order to compare the results of the experimental group with the control group. SECONDARY OUTCOME: To verify the impact of parental guided participation in the interaction between the main caregiver and the premature baby, through the quantification of the bond through the behavioral analysis in the execution of the dyad task, changing diapers, at si Xmonths of corrected age of the premature infant. INCLUSION CRITERIA: 50 preterm newborns (= 32 weeks) and their parents/main caregivers, admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Units will be included
