This study aimed to determine the productivity of broiler chickens given ginger extract (Zingiber Officinal Rocs) and turmeric extract (Curcuma Domestical Val) added to drinking water, in terms of broiler production, mainly feed consumption, feed conversion and drinking water consumption of broiler chickens. The material used comprised 100 DOC (Day Old Chicken) of the Abror Acres CP 707 strain, and the feed, produced by PT. Charon Pokphand Indonesia, was BR 1. The equipment used was 20 sets of feeders, buckets, measuring cups, light bulbs, a thermometer, a hygrometer and scales. The variables observed were feed consumption, feed conversion and drinking water consumption. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design consisting of four treatments with five replicates, each replicate placed at random across all experimental pens. The four treatments were: T0: addition of 0 g of ginger and turmeric extract, T1: addition of 5 g of ginger and turmeric extract, T2: addition of 10 g of ginger and turmeric extract, T3: addition of 15 g of ginger and turmeric extract. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance; when there were significant differences, Duncan's test followed. The results showed that feed consumption and feed conversion differed significantly, while drinking water consumption did not. Duncan's test showed that mean feed consumption by treatment was T0 = 700,72bc, T1 = 686,07abc gram, T2 = 665,48a gram, T3 = 677,98ab gram, meaning that adding 5 g of turmeric and ginger extract to the drinking water (T1) gave the best result. Duncan's test showed that mean feed conversion by treatment was T0 = 11,11d gram, T1 = 9,65abc gram, T2 = 9,18a, T3 = 9,35ab gram, meaning that adding 5 g of turmeric and ginger extract to the drinking water (T1) gave the best result. Giving ginger and turmeric extract at levels of 5 gram, 10 gram and 15 gram in the drinking water differed significantly for feed consumption and highly significantly for feed conversion. Drinking water consumption did not differ significantly between treatments.
